NEW DELHI, AUGUST 20 . The Central Government has approved the extension of the central deputation tenure of Shah Faesal, IAS (AGMUT:2010), who is presently serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, for another two years.

According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Office of the Establishment Officer, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Culture for extending Shah Faesal’s tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme beyond September 18, 2026.

As per the memorandum, the extension will remain effective for a period of two years beyond September 18, 2026, up to September 18, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
